Operant AI on Wednesday announced the launch of a new Channel Partner Program to help resellers address growing security risks tied to AI, agentic systems, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) deployments.

The San Francisco-based vendor said the program is designed as a full go-to-market initiative, giving partners access to enablement resources, training, incentives, and support as customer adoption of AI-driven technologies accelerates in 2026.

Program targets fast-evolving AI threat landscape

According to Operant AI, the channel program is built to help partners navigate what the company describes as a rapidly changing AI security environment

Participating resellers gain access to education modules focused on AI, agentic, and MCP security, with an emphasis on helping security teams understand emerging risks and operational requirements.

The program also includes financial incentives to drive partner profitability, along with 24/7 access to a newly launched partner portal. The portal provides technical documentation, sales tools, and access to partner success managers.

“Kat Mills and the Operant AI team have been solid partners to work with,” said Bob Fehrenbach, sales director at a leading cybersecurity reseller, in a statement.

“From a reseller perspective, we value partners who understand how to engage through the channel and align to customer needs. As AI security continues to be an important focus area across the market, it’s helpful to work with teams that are responsive and knowledgeable in the space. Our priority is always helping customers evaluate the right strategies and solutions for their environments, and strong partner collaboration supports that process,” Fehrenbach continued.

Operant AI said its goal is to enable partners to guide customers through AI adoption while maintaining responsible, secure operations.

Industry veteran tapped to lead channel strategy

The channel initiative is being led by Kat Mills, head of channel partners at Operant AI.

Mills brings prior experience as a cybersecurity reseller, as well as partner development and channel leadership roles at technology vendors.

Operant AI said Mills’ background gives her firsthand insight into common reseller challenges, including go-to-market alignment, enablement gaps, and margin pressure.

The company positioned her appointment as central to building a partner program that aligns technology value with reseller business outcomes.

“The AI security landscape is evolving at an unprecedented pace, and resellers need a partner who understands both the technology and the business of the channel,” Mills said in a statement.

“Having been a reseller myself, I know firsthand the challenges partners face and what they need to succeed. This program is built from the ground up with those needs in mind, providing not just world-class technology, but the education, incentives, and support that drive real business outcomes. We’re committed to ensuring our partners can confidently lead their customers into the AI-powered future while maintaining the security and responsibility that organizations demand,” Mills continued.
