Cloud-based directory and identity management provider JumpCloud Inc., in collaboration with Google Workspace, has launched the Work Transformation Set—an AI-powered solution for enterprises that combines Google’s productivity and collaboration tools with JumpCloud’s identity, device, and access management capabilities.

Google Gemini with JumpCloud’s IT management

Framed as an alternative to legacy productivity and IT management technology, Work Transformation Set combines Google AI capabilities with Zero Trust controls under a single contract from Google.

It’s designed to boost productivity by integrating Google Workspace with Gemini for content generation, data analysis, and meeting management, while also providing JumpCloud’s secure and centralized IT management platform.

“Enterprise IT and security teams are at a crossroads. The choices they face are clear: stick with legacy systems that have held back innovation for decades, or embrace a modern, AI-enabled future,” said Greg Keller, co-founder and chief technology officer at JumpCloud.

“Living in the past, and being complacent with legacy technology, isn’t going to shape the future. The combination of JumpCloud and Google Workspace provides that clear path forward, leveraging Google’s powerful AI capabilities to accelerate deeper security, productivity, and value,” Keller added.

According to JumpCloud, the Work Transformation Set also reduces a company’s attack surface and security risks through its AI-powered identity and access management (IAM) and unified endpoint management (UEM) platform. Both provide businesses with Zero Trust access and strong biometric MFA capabilities, ensuring security across any operating system or location.

The solution also simplifies the procurement process and lowers the total cost of ownership (TCO) by consolidating multiple product licenses under a single Google Workspace contract.

Moving beyond legacy technology

Yulie Kwon Kim, vice president of product at Google Workspace, emphasized how several customers have asked for a solution that melds both AI and security, such as the mix found in the Work Transformation Set.

“Our customers tell us they need world-class AI, productivity, and collaboration, along with best-in-class IT management capabilities. Work Transformation Set is built to do exactly that,” said Kim.

“Our collaboration with JumpCloud provides a modern solution that empowers organizations to move beyond outdated technology. With an open and flexible platform, this integration helps businesses streamline operations and defend against evolving threats,” she added.

Fintech firm Tamara is one organization that has enjoyed the productivity benefits from the Work Transformation Set, achieving real-world improvements in time savings and compliance.

“JumpCloud and Google Workspace’s collaboration has been a game-changer. We’ve cut employee onboarding time by 70%, eliminated manual password resets, and achieved 100% compliance across all our devices,” said Renjith Radhakrishnan, head of IT business solutions at Tamara.

“The seamless integration and powerful AI in Google Workspace, combined with JumpCloud’s unified management, has freed our team to focus on innovation and has given us a secure, cloud-native foundation to scale at an incredible pace.”

In September, JumpCloud unveiled a new asset management solution designed to track and manage all IT assets. Learn more about how it helps cut costs and streamline compliance for IT teams.
