D&H Distributing is attempting to differentiate itself in the competitive market by signing a range of emerging vendors.

It has signed a slew of new vendors to its portfolio in the peripherals, components and accessories arenas.

The vendors include: 3Dconnexion, a Logitech company whose products include the SpaceNavigator 3D mouse; and Callpod, a wireless accessories vendor and TiVo with its High Definition content box.

“We’re in a competitive industry, and there are only so many sure-fire ways for VARs to differentiate themselves,” said Dan Schwab, vice president of marketing at D&H, in a statement. “When items surface that have something that no one else has been able to duplicate yet, it’s a key selling feature for a system and sometimes that only has a short-lived window. D&H can’t justify withholding support until further notice. The earlier these products can be made available, the more unique and valuable they are.”

The distributor said it has also signed XO Vision, IronKey, Yoggie, Antennas Direct and VAF in the past three months.
