Portal26 today announced the launch of what it calls the industry’s first AI Value Realization Solution, a new module designed to help enterprises better measure, manage, and improve returns on generative AI investments.
The vendor said the new offering builds on its existing GenAI Adoption Platform, which focuses on Shadow AI discovery, GenAI security, and license intelligence.
Addressing low returns on GenAI investments
According to Portal26, many organizations continue to struggle to move GenAI proofs of concept into production environments that deliver sustained value.
Citing internal experience from enterprise design partners and broader industry research, the company points to high failure rates driven by top-down planning, limited visibility into actual AI usage, and a lack of systematic ROI frameworks.
Portal26 said its AI Value Realization module is designed to aggregate and analyze granular, enterprise-wide signals on GenAI demand, cost, utilization, productivity, and business impact.
The goal, the company said, is to support more data-driven decisions around which AI use cases to fund, scale, or retire.
Decision support for AI leaders and finance teams
The new module expands Portal26’s target audience beyond CIOs and CISOs to include Chief AI Officers, AI product managers, CFOs, and Chief People Officers involved in workforce development initiatives.
According to Portal26, customers using the solution have seen improvements in proof-of-concept-to-production success rates, AI utilization metrics, cost management, and business impact.
The platform also aims to support better agent design, deployment strategies, user education, and policy enforcement across enterprise environments.
“Portal26 receives continuous granular signals from across the enterprise and analyzes them for demand, cost, productivity, and impact on an ongoing basis,” said CEO Arti Raman. “This allows Portal26 to predict high-impact use cases and support how these should be built and deployed.”
Completing a three-pillar GenAI adoption strategy
With the addition of AI Value Realization, Portal26 said it now supports three core pillars of enterprise GenAI adoption:
- Shadow AI discovery and mitigation
- GenAI security and governance
- AI investment and ROI management
Chief GenAI and Product Officer Pakshi Rajan said enterprises are under growing pressure to adopt GenAI while facing increasing scrutiny around costs and returns.
“Our AI Value Realization module allows organizations to proactively build AI-powered use cases with pre-determined impact and competitive advantage,” Rajan said.
Portal26 said the new module is available immediately as part of its broader GenAI Adoption Management Platform.
