Cynomi has rolled out the largest platform expansion in its history, adding new vulnerability management integrations, scheduled scanning, compliance file management, and expanded AI capabilities designed to help MSPs and MSSPs scale cybersecurity services across more clients.
The release, announced June 24, connects security findings, remediation planning, compliance evidence, and AI-assisted workflows inside Cynomi’s Security Growth Platform.
The company said the update is intended to reduce the manual work MSPs face when managing security programs across multiple customer environments.
AI Coworkers aim to reduce manual security work
At the center of the release is Cynomi’s CISO Intelligence infrastructure and expanded AI Coworker capabilities. The company said its AI Findings Coworker can analyze incoming scan data, identify conflicting information or emerging risks, and recommend remediation updates for partner approval.
Primor said the company built the new AI-powered capabilities in response to growing partner pressure to scale cybersecurity services without significantly increasing headcount.
“We can help you to be able to automate many of your processes in a way that you couldn’t do before,” Primor told Channel Insider. “You could onboard a junior CISO or IT guy and turn them to be a sophisticated cybersecurity expert using AI.”
According to Primor, Cynomi customers are already seeing gains in service capacity. “Currently, with Cynomi, [a partner] can serve about 10, 12 customers. Before Cynomi, it was five,” he said.
New integrations target MSP vulnerability management workflows
The company has also rolled out a series of integrations with other leading security platforms heavily used by partners.
“We added about seven new integrations for different security products like CrowdStrike, Qualys, and Tenable,” Primor said, “in order to make sure that MSSPs and MSPs using other scanners and vulnerability management tools could use Cynomi and enrich the data.”
The full list includes:
- Tenable
- Rapid7 InsightVM
- CrowdStrike Falcon Spotlight
- SentinelOne Singularity Vulnerability Management
- Tanium Exposure Management
- Upwind
- Qualys.
The company said the integrations were among the most requested updates from its partner community. They allow MSPs to bring scan data directly into Cynomi and connect findings to remediation plans, compliance workflows, and evidence collection.
Cynomi adds scheduled scans and compliance file repository
The release also introduces Scheduled Scans, which let partners automate weekly or monthly scans across client environments.
Cynomi said the capability is designed to keep security posture data, findings, and remediation priorities current without requiring manual scan execution or file uploads.
For MSPs supporting compliance-heavy customers, the update includes a centralized Files Repository. The repository organizes reports, remediation evidence, policies, and compliance documents within each client environment. Files can also be linked to controls and exported for audits.
Cynomi said the new workflow supports frameworks including CMMC, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

Expansion reflects broader vCISO market shift
The release also reflects Cynomi’s evolution from a virtual CISO platform into a broader operational platform for MSPs.
Primor told Channel Insider that the company has pivoted its initial focus just on providing support for security services to focus more on the holistic business success of its partners.
“We understood that we are actually creating some kind of operating system for the service providers,” Primor said. “One person should provide services to many customers… in order to get more profitable.”
That shift has pushed the company to support more of the customer lifecycle, from prospecting and onboarding to ongoing security management, retention, and revenue growth.
Over the past year, Cynomi has expanded its platform and continued to add deep channel expertise to its executive team as it grows its MSP and MSSP partner base.
Cynomi’s new integrations, Scheduled Scans, Files Repository, and AI Coworker updates are available now.
