MetTel has announced a new strategic partnership with Check Point Software Technologies to deliver a fully managed mobile threat defense solution for enterprises.

The offering integrates Check Point’s Harmony Mobile platform into MetTel’s managed mobility suite, targeting a wide range of mobile-based cyber threats, including phishing links, infected applications, unpatched OS vulnerabilities, and insecure Wi-Fi connections.

Managed services built for enterprise scale

The new solution is offered as a fully managed service designed to simplify deployment and reduce overhead for enterprise IT teams.

According to MetTel, the platform enables faster implementation without requiring significant changes to existing infrastructure and includes the following features:

  • Streamlined setup and policy enforcement based on established security standards, with support for bulk device enrollment.
  • Real-time monitoring, end-user support, and direct escalation paths to Check Point for advanced issue resolution.
  • Seamless integration with existing mobile device management systems, ensuring consistent control and visibility across corporate devices.

Expressing his optimism, Max Silber, VP of mobility and IoT at MetTel, said, “By integrating Check Point Harmony Mobile into our managed mobility ecosystem, we’re providing customers with a seamless, scalable solution that enhances their security posture while maintaining operational efficiency.”

Core technology behind the platform

MetTel’s mobile threat defense offering is powered by Check Point Harmony Mobile, which combines device-level intelligence with automated response capabilities. The platform is designed to identify, assess, and contain threats without disrupting the user experience or requiring constant manual oversight.

According to the companies, the mobile application works across all major operating systems and monitors device activity, including app behavior and network access, while preserving user privacy.

Key components include a behavioral risk engine for real-time threat analysis and detection, ThreatCloud AI, Check Point’s global threat intelligence system, and a centralized management portal hosted on the Check Point Infinity architecture.

With mobile devices now accounting for over 60% of global internet traffic, per Check Point’s State of Cyber Security 2025, they have become one of the most frequently targeted entry points in the enterprise threat landscape.

The MetTel-Check Point partnership aims to address this risk by offering AI-enabled security that aligns with enterprise mobility needs.

As Gil Friedrich, General Manager of Workspace Security at Check Point, notes, mobile endpoints have become a critical front in cybersecurity. The partnership, he said, brings AI-powered mobile threat prevention into focus for organizations operating across distributed environments.

Earlier this year, Check Point joined Sherweb’s linecard, providing its partners with another opportunity to address their customers’ cybersecurity needs.
