65% believe some of their customers would pay a cyber-ransom, while 16% think the majority of their customers would pay.
Managing Alerts
About 45% of the resellers surveyed believe that less than half their customers have the proper resources in place to adequately manage incoming security alerts.
Room for Improvement
Only 5% believe that all of their customers have security resources in place, while 7% don’t think any of them do.
Not Understanding the Difference
63% of the resellers think the majority of their customers don’t understand the difference between Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliances and Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
Not Caring About the Difference
80% of resellers think their customers don’t care about the difference between UTM appliances and NGFW, as long as their business is protected.
UTM vs. NGFW
Almost 75% of resellers report the most growth in UTM appliance sales, while around 25% have seen the most growth in NGFW appliances.
