SAS Beefs Up Its Partner Program
SAS, a provider of analytics software and services, enhanced its partner program with additional training and credentials, enabling partners to provide the same level of service and support customers expect directly from SAS. The company is also rolling out solutions specializations, such as customer intelligence, fraud and risk.
The SAS Partner Program includes a set of new credentials and competency badges that a partner can achieve for key SAS products and technologies, the company said. Many partners are working toward credentials that acknowledge their expertise in key areas, such as analytics, data management and visualization. SAS also expanded partner training options that include online resources, a demo center and sales enablement tools that give them the information to be more responsive in supporting customers and identifying new opportunities for them, the company said.
HP Delivers New IT Service Broker Products
HP announced updates to HP Propel and HP Service Anywhere, which are designed to simplify the delivery of applications and services to employees, customers and partners, and enable central IT to better manage costs, complexity and security for their organization, the company said. Together, the enhanced products enable IT departments to act as a strategic “service broker” that allows employees to on-board new apps and services.
The self-service products address the challenges around employees procuring what they need directly themselves due to “the complexity and siloed nature of IT service catalogs,” which results in “increased complexity, uncontrolled costs and security risks for the organization,” said HP. HP Propel 2.0 is available now, and the latest version of HP Service Anywhere was released in August. A free trial version is available for 30 days.
