SOA Software is looking to expand its channel program by embracing professional service organizations.
The Los Angeles-based vendor of service-oriented architecture and Web services said the new program is designed for companies that provide consulting, training, support and development assistance to large enterprises deploying SOA solutions.
Several have already joined the program, including Azora of Sunnyvale, Calif.; E-brilliance of Conshohocken, Pa.; ERPWeb.Net of Rock Hill, S.C.; and Tekmark Global Systems of Edison, N.J.
The new Consulting Partner Program will be part of SOA Software’s partner network, which has 35 partners in a handful of categories including “Platform Partners” that specialize in operating system and application platforms, “Technology Partners” that include product offerings that either add value or derive value from the SOA Software suite, and Value-Added Distributors and VARs that resell products and provide customized solutions.
“The partnerships with consulting organizations worldwide provide clients, not only with SOA products, but also with consulting capabilities related to the architecture and deployment of SOA,” said Roberto Medrano, executive vice president of SOA Software, in a statement.
SOA Software’s product suite offers capabilities that include closed-loop governance, central policy management, life cycle management with SOA security, and management. SOA Software can mediate between different standards, the company said.
“Our global financial clients are looking for development and support services for their legacy systems that can be executed swiftly, effectively and efficiently,” said Guy Del Grande, president and CEO of Tekmark Global Systems, in a statement. “The solutions from SOA Software allow us to do that while leveraging the investment in the legacy platform.”
