IT giant HP recently announced new and expanded solutions for its expansive network of channel partners to help boost revenue streams and deliver transformative business and IT outcomes.

These new and enhanced solutions are designed to address challenges related to IT management complexity, heightened expectations for channel partners, and support for hybrid work.

Lengthy list of updates includes collaboration, PC services, carbon-neutral computing, and others

HP has expanded its portfolio to address service needs for partners across devices, collaboration technology, and remediation support. Below is a summary of the various announcements made this month.

  • HP Managed Device Services: A fully managed PC service designed for enterprise customers, which includes device configuration and management, onsite support, proactive monitoring, and recommendations for fleet improvements, that are now available through the channel. It will feature a reduced seat requirement, targeting mid-size customers in the U.S. and the U.K.
  • HP Managed Collaboration Services: Channel partners are now able to sell HP Managed Collaboration Service– a fully managed solution for collaboration rooms that combines premium HP | Poly video and audio equipment with professional design, installation, and proactive support. Partners will be able to sell the service to mid-market and enterprise customers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden.
  • Out-of-Band Diagnosis & Remediation Capabilities: Channel partners will be able to deliver HP’s out-of-band remediation capability that allows HP support agents to diagnose and fix more complex issues remotely. This advanced support capability enables partners to resolve 45 percent more hardware issues for users of HP business PCs with Intel vPro.
  • New Support Services for Print: HP will be expanding its portfolio of Support Services for enterprise-class business printers with new HP Premium and HP Premium+ Support packages. HP Premium Support can provide remote or on-site assistance, as well as new telemetry capabilities that deliver device health insights. HP Premium+ Support offers out-of-hours chat support, preferred access to phone support agents, HP parts, and delivery and service priority.
  • HP Carbon Neutral Computing Services: HP channel partners will be able to sell HP’s new Security Advisory Service, with planned availability for June 2025, to help mid-size and enterprise customers with regulatory compliance requirements, reduce vulnerabilities, and secure endpoints.
  • HP Carbon Neutral Computing Services: Channel partners will be able to deliver HP Carbon Neutral Computing Services, enabling customers to offset the carbon footprint associated with the manufacturing and use of eligible commercial HP computer systems. This service will allow customers to support their sustainability initiatives before powering up the device.

Elsewhere, HP is providing new and improved tools, resources, and training for channel partners:

  • HP Managed Print Services Subscription: HP is making two key changes to this subscription experience, including a mobile friendly subscription management tool that makes it easier to monitor supply levels, track consumable orders, and stay on top of usage trends; and onboard automation efficiency with the MPS Printer Onboarding Tool enabling faster connectivity to the HP Cloud and activation of the subscription. Partners will be able to streamline their processes and provide better experiences for customers with these enhancements.
  • HP Managed Solution Sales Toolkit: HP will be expanding its Managed Solutions sales toolkit. Among the improvements are easier-to-use sales tools, such as an online self-service widget for subscriptions and proposal guides for partner sales teams, as well as new digital market campaign assets, sales training, and certifications.

These updates for channel partners follow HP’s recent update to its partner program compensation structure. Read more about the new benefits through its Amplify partner program to assist partners with evolving demands.
