Dimension Data Launches Cisco Spark Services

Dimension Data launched Cisco Spark and Spark Hybrid Services globally, leveraging its global footprint and managed and application development services to offer Spark and its hybrid services in 58 countries. Spark provides cloud-based business communications that enable customers to message, meet and call anyone on mobile devices, desktops or in meeting rooms.

Cisco Spark Hybrid connects customers’ existing on-premises collaboration capabilities to Cisco Spark via Dimension Data Collaboration Cloud services. Cisco Spark Message and Meeting, and Cisco Spark Hybrid Services are available globally. Cisco Spark Calling will be rolled out in the United States and Australia in the second half of 2016, followed by Asia, Europe, and Middle East & Africa in 2017.

CYBER-i, Intel Security Partner on Managed Security Services

CYBER-i, the cyber-security division of AGC Networks, a solutions integrator company, and Intel Security formed a partnership to offer outcome-based managed security services globally. The solution is designed to help customers prevent, monitor and respond to security incidents in their organizations. Security practitioners will be able to remotely monitor and support customers while maintaining control over partner branding, licensing, reporting, billing and pricing.

Snow Software Rolls Out Global Partner Program 

Snow Software, a developer of software asset management (SAM) solutions, launched a new partner program. One of the biggest benefits of the program is the opportunity for partners to increase their revenues through software licensing, services and support, the company said.

Snow Software partners include large global systems integrators and local SAM specialists. In addition, the program now consists of three tiers—Authorized, Gold and Platinum—to recognize the level of commitment and partner expertise in advising customers. The program is available to systems integrators, outsourcers, business consultancies, resellers and SAM consultancies. It covers both on-premise license sales and own-brand managed SAM Services.

Kaspersky Lab Debuts New Solutions to Drive Reseller Growth

Kaspersky Lab North America, a 100-percent channel company, unveiled three new products for resellers that prevent cyber-threats, detect sophisticated attacks, respond to security incidents and predict the evolution of the threat landscape. The new solutions—Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform, Security Intelligence Services and Kaspersky Private Security Network—are aimed at enabling resellers to offer a broader security portfolio that they can add their own service capabilities to deliver more value to their customers. 

Intermedia Adds New Resources for Channel Partners 

Intermedia, a provider of cloud IT services, announced a new through-partner marketing automation platform and a major expansion of Intermedia University—a self-paced learning platform to educate and train partners. These new resources are aimed at helping increase lead generation and improve lead conversion.

The through-partner marketing automation platform is designed to enable partners to implement month-long integrated marketing campaigns in less than five minutes, without any in-house marketing experts, according to the company.  They also have access to campaign metrics and real-time lead alerts.

eSentire Launches Open-Source Threat Intelligence Aggregator

eSentire, a provider of Active Threat Protection solutions and managed security services, launched Cymon, touted as the world’s largest open-source threat intelligence aggregator. Cymon collects data from 180+ sources daily to track cyber-threats, including malware, phishing, botnets and spam.

eSentire’s Security Operations Center analysts and Professional Services groups have been using Cymon for security investigations since its beta launch in late 2014. Cymon is open for public use and the database is fully searchable by IP, domain, URL or hash. It offers personalized dashboards for registered uses. A Google Chrome plug-in, Cymon Intercepter, will be available soon.
