CrowdStrike is shaking up its strategy by heavily relying on partners to drive its Next-Generation SIEM services. The cybersecurity company is rolling out a new program that puts partners front and center, giving them the lead on everything from consulting to implementation. Daniel Bernard, CrowdStrike’s chief business officer, says this is all about a “partner-first approach on services” for Next-Generation SIEM.

The initiative aims to address the growing pitfalls and perils organizations face in protecting their digital assets.

The growing complexity of cybersecurity

It’s no secret that businesses struggle to keep up with dizzyingly complex security demands. Many security systems, especially the more traditional ones, have become clunky and ineffective when put up against the sophistication of modern cyber threats. To combat this, the idea behind CrowdStrike’s Next-Gen SIEM is a solution that combines advanced AI, real-time intelligence, and comprehensive data analysis.

Giving partners a fighting chance

The program gives partners a toolkit that includes training, certifications, and incentives to help them do their jobs better. These resources are meant to help partners build security solutions that can actually keep up in the trenches. The “building” part is key—after all, cybersecurity isn’t just about defending; it’s about staying ahead of threats. By bringing in their partners, CrowdStrike aims to shift from constantly playing defense to playing some effective offense.

“As all CrowdStrike customers are fully equipped to leverage the Next-Gen SIEM capabilities in the platform, the demand for our services partners to help transform existing SIEM deployments has never been higher. We are seizing this opportunity to create meaningful growth for our partners,” said Tom Etheridge, chief global services officer, CrowdStrike. “Our Services Partner Program enables partners to harness the full power of Falcon’s Next-Gen SIEM while applying their deep SIEM, security, compliance and operational expertise to drive better outcomes for both their customers and businesses. Together, we’re eliminating complexity, consolidating costs and keeping organizations ahead of evolving threats.”

Matthew Ball, chief analyst at Canalys, adds that the SIEM market is undergoing a rather significant transformation as “businesses realize that legacy approaches can’t keep up with the speed and sophistication of modern threats.”

“Success in this new era depends on harnessing technologies like Falcon Next-Gen SIEM alongside expert partner services to gain complete visibility, accelerate detection and response and strengthen long-term cyber resilience,” says Ball. “The channel will play a pivotal role in this shift, ensuring businesses stay ahead in an increasingly complex cybersecurity landscape.”

Indeed, the channel is no longer just a distribution mechanism—it’s becoming the key to solving real cybersecurity challenges. CrowdStrike’s Services Partner Program shows that partners are the secret sauce moving forward, turning top tech into practical solutions that actually protect businesses. By giving them the right tools and support, they’re turning the channel into the most important player in helping companies stay secure.

Some vendors are creating new programs, while others are focusing on specialization and partner type. Catch up on how and why partner programs are changing with the channel.
