Dell, CloudRunner Team Up to Deliver MSP Cloud Services Platform
Dell and CloudRunner, a desktop-as-a-service vendor, forged a partnership to deliver cloud services to small and midsize businesses (SMBs). Expanding its IT-as-a-service enabled offerings for managed service providers (MSPs), Dell launched the CloudRunner cloud service platform in North America; Europe Middle East and Africa; and the Asia-Pacific region. Offering a turnkey platform enables MSPs to expand into cloud services.
The turnkey platform delivers cloud services via a pay-as-you-go model to accelerate cloud adoption. The platform, which runs on a variety of Microsoft and Dell products, allows SMB customers to access all their applications and data "in a consumer-like experience" through a familiar Windows desktop on any device. They can access their applications and data from any laptop, desktop, tablet or smartphone.
Avnet Expands Distribution Agreement With Veeam
Veeam, which provides backup, disaster recovery and virtualization management capabilities, is one of the primary virtual machine backup and replication solutions for VMware. Avnet is the only Veeam distributor to offer Cisco, EMC, HP, NetApp and VMware together on its line card.
Vaultize Enhances Partner Program With Profitability Plans
Vaultize, an enterprise file security provider, introduced new and enhanced programs as part of the IMPACT Partner Program, strengthening its commitment to its 100 percent channel-focused sales strategy. These enhancements include an improved incentive plan consisting of a partner-driven customer reference program, certification program, sales incentive program and significant discounts on products differentiated by partner tier. The Vaultize IMPACT Partner Program includes Silver, Gold, and Platinum membership levels.
CorasCloud Launches Partner Program
CorasCloud recently announced the launch of its partner incentive program. The new program, backed by a $2.6 million investment, provides partners with a comprehensive set of tools, licenses, technical training and support. With CorasCloud built on Microsoft Azure, users can select and implement apps from app stores, or design and build their own apps using the Visual Application Builder. The CorasCloud Partner Program supports partners that are delivering services for a customer consulting on app strategies, building apps or bringing new technology services to the market.
Security Mentor Adds Game-Based Learning
Security Mentor, a provider of security awareness training, expanded its gamification technology across its cloud-based security awareness training programs. The new features enable employees to earn rewards and compete as groups. This is designed to enhance the overall user experience and drive greater engagement through achievement and friendly competition, said the company.
Barracuda Adds New Training
Barracuda Networks is offering new training courses and Public Cloud Certification through Barracuda University to enable partners and integrators to configure and deploy Barracuda Web Application Firewall and Barracuda NG Firewall in public cloud environments. The courses and certification provide training on the deployment of Barracuda security solutions on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and VMware vCloud Air. The public cloud courses include BTN320–Barracuda NG Firewall Public Cloud Security Engineer and BTW320–Barracuda Web Application Firewall Public Cloud Security Engineer.
