Legacy Investing has named longtime channel executive Jackie Steinberg as its first Channel Chief, signaling a deeper push into a channel-first strategy to help data center users secure near-term, ready-for-service power capacity.

The newly created role positions Steinberg to work alongside co-founder and managing partner Daniel English to build out a partner-led go-to-market approach focused on connecting enterprises, cloud providers, and AI-driven workloads with available data center infrastructure, including liquid-to-chip deployments.

New role underscores channel-first strategy

Steinberg will be responsible for building and scaling Legacy Investing’s channel ecosystem, with an emphasis on working through technology services distributors (TSDs) and trusted advisors.

The strategy is designed to help channel partners respond to rising demand for data center capacity as power constraints and deployment timelines become more acute across the market.

Legacy Investing said the channel-first approach reflects the next phase of its broader infrastructure investment strategy, which centers on vertically integrated and sustainable AI data centers nationwide.

“Jackie’s leadership and clear vision for partner-centric growth are invaluable as we deploy our channel strategy,” said English. “Our focus is building meaningful partnerships with the channel ecosystem so that together we can connect users with timely, ready-to-deploy data center capacity. Jackie’s experience and depth of relationships aligns with our commitment to meeting the needs of both the channel and their customers.”

Steinberg brings deep channel and infrastructure experience

Steinberg brings decades of experience across telecom, data center, and partner ecosystems. Prior to joining Legacy Investing, she served as channel chief at DartPoints and held senior partner leadership roles at AT&T and Comcast Business Nitel. She is also a board member of the Alliance of Channel Women.

Legacy described Steinberg as a channel ecosystem advocate with a track record of driving partner engagement and of redefining how channel organizations access and sell infrastructure and capacity.

In her new role, she will lead the design and execution of initiatives intended to help partners meet accelerating demand for data center services.

Legacy positions channel as conduit to capacity

Legacy Investing has been building and operating data center infrastructure for more than 25 years, spanning enterprise colocation, cloud, and AI-era deployments.

The firm develops turnkey and powered-shell facilities and emphasizes execution experience in densification and advanced cooling strategies.

Founded by Daniel English and Jay Rappaport, Legacy Investing has deployed capital across more than 50 investments nationwide, representing a portfolio of more than 20 million square feet. With Steinberg’s appointment, Legacy is betting that the channel can play a central role in translating infrastructure investment into accessible, deployable capacity for customers facing tightening power and space constraints.
