Infinigate Group has named veteran channel executive Sabine Hammer regional vice president for DACH, putting the former Lenovo and ALSO Germany leader in charge of the distributor’s operations and growth strategy across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

André Stark, who has led the DACH organization over the past two years, will cede responsibility to Hammer, effective October 1.

“We are grateful to André for guiding the DACH team through an important period of development, and delighted to welcome Sabine as she leads the region into its next phase of growth,” said Marco van Kalleveen, CEO, Infinigate Group. “DACH is a key market for Infinigate, and we look forward to accelerating growth for vendors and partners as a leading cybersecurity VAD platform.”

Hammer brings more than 20 years of channel leadership experience

Hammer brings over 20 years of leadership experience, with expertise in strategy development and sales management across the vendor and distribution sides of the channel ecosystem.

“Infinigate is a leading value-added distributor in the DACH market, with a strong reputation as a trusted advisor in cybersecurity, cloud, and network infrastructure,” Hammer said. “I am proud to lead such a high-performing organization through its next phase of transformation, working with our vendors to deliver greater value for partners and customers.”

She served on the German Management Board at ALSO Germany, responsible for the organization’s B2B sales in the distribution business in Germany.

She has also held senior channel leadership roles for DACH and EMEA at Lenovo, most recently leading value business development, go-to-market strategy, partner ecosystem growth, and strategic alliances.

“With rising demand for cybersecurity, accelerated by AI, and a clear Group strategy, this is an exciting time to join Infinigate. I look forward to contributing to the continued success of the Infinigate Group and its leadership team,” said Hammer.

Infinigate UK&I expands partner support services

The addition of Hammer to the leadership team comes on the heels of Infinigate UK&I – a regional subsidiary of Infinigate Group – becoming accredited by Extreme Networks to deliver professional, technical post-sales support for ExtremeWorks Maintenance Services customers across the UK and Ireland.

The offer is built around PartnerWorks, a support model in which partners and resellers take a larger role in first-touch support. Extreme Networks will help with escalation when needed.

For partners, it provides more flexibility to support customers, keep more of the relationship, and build a services motion that works commercially as well as operationally.

“Partners need support models that make commercial sense, not just technical sense,” said Paul Tedford, Head of Sales & Service Delivery at Infinigate UK&I.

“By combining PartnerWorks-enabled support with Network Assessment Services powered by Auvik, we are giving partners a straightforward way to add margin, improve visibility across customer networks, and deliver a service that customers genuinely value.”
