IT distributor and platform provider TD SYNNEX has launched the TD SYNNEX Global FinOps Practice powered by IBM Cloudability. This new service is designed to help partners build their own FinOps practice, enabling their customers to optimize cloud spending and usage.
A comprehensive end-to-end FinOps practice
Tailored for cloud resellers, MSPs, and system integrators who manage complex multi-cloud environments, the new service allows partners to establish a FinOps practice without starting from scratch.
The offering combines partner enablement, integrated tooling, and FinOps-as-a-Service—aligning finance, operations, and IT teams to leverage real-time data for smarter, data-driven decisions in the cloud. It also equips partners with the tools necessary to enhance their own service offerings and boost customer retention.
“Cloud adoption is accelerating, CFOs are demanding tighter cost controls, and partners are under pressure to deliver more value with less,” said Sergio Farache, chief strategy officer at TD SYNNEX.
“With the TD SYNNEX Global FinOps Practice, we’re empowering our partners to turn cloud financial management from a challenge into a competitive advantage,” he continued.
Below is an overview of the practice’s inclusions:
- Dedicated Global and Regional Centers of Excellence with FinOps experts
- Advanced analytics and intuitive dashboards powered by IBM Cloudability
- Actionable guidance and optimization services for right-sizing and savings planning
- Forecasting and budgeting support, along with executive-level reporting
- Consultancy and enablement resources to help partners build or enhance their own FinOps capabilities
Maximizing ROI in the cloud
According to TD SYNNEX, the offering aims to address the challenge of underutilized cloud spend, particularly for businesses that struggle to track cloud costs and demonstrate ROI. The service is complemented by IBM Cloudability and its deep analytics capabilities, maximizing TD SYNNEX’s end-to-end solution model to address these obstacles and more.
In terms of availability, the TD SYNNEX FinOps Practice is accessible to partners who procure cloud services through TD SYNNEX, as well as to businesses that purchase directly from cloud service providers.
Companies like digital transformation firm Sincera have already started reaping the benefits of partnering with TD SYNNEX.
“Our collaboration with TD SYNNEX was key in delivering meaningful cost savings,” said Warren Cornelius, managing director at Sincera. “Their innovative share-shift tax strategy secured optimal reserved-instance pricing and managed the long-term commitments to lower our customers’ cloud costs while ensuring Sincera maintained positive margins.”
“They also provided excellent post-implementation support, ensuring a seamless transition for both our team and our customer,” Cornelius added.
