Optro has expanded its global Partner Connect program with new tracks for technology partners and distributors, alongside growth funding and a planned awards program, as the GRC software provider looks to help partners build and scale their practices.
“Our partners are fundamental to our ability to solve complex GRC challenges for enterprises across the globe,” said Jim Sperduto, chief growth officer at Optro. “These new program tracks and investments through Partner Growth Funding reflect our focus on providing the resources, financial co-investment, and technical support our partners need to build profitable, differentiated practices with Optro’s GRC Intelligence Platform.”
Optro builds new tracks for distributor and ISV partners
Optro is expanding its program with two new program tracks, which include:
- Technology Partner Track: A two-tiered track designed for independent software vendors (ISVs) and developers that provide API tools, sandbox access, and dedicated support to co-develop integrated workflows with Optro. Validated integrations will automate data movement to accelerate time to value for customers.
- Distributor Track: This track is tailored for large-scale aggregators and enables partners to anchor their catalogs with Optro’s GRC Intelligence Platform while leveraging their existing credit and billing infrastructure. The track simplifies global enterprise procurement by enabling customers to purchase through local partners in their native currencies, with accredited delivery support.
“Being part of Optro’s technology partner track gives us the access and support needed for our integration,” said Frank Vukovits, chief security scientist at Delinea Fastpath. “Now, critical IT general controls evidence, like segregation of duties analysis and user access reviews, flow directly from Delinea Fastpath into customer control libraries in Optro, so auditor requests can be answered directly from the platform.”
Partner growth funding and awards target 2027 expansion
To foster greater innovation, Optro is making significant investments to help partners further build around the GRC Intelligence Platform.
The Optro Partner Connect Growth Funding will help partners scale capabilities and demand generation. Optro is co-investing capital directly in partner-led marketing, enablement, and practice-building initiatives aligned with joint strategic business plans.
Partners in qualifying tiers may submit proposals for Optro PGF.
The Optro Partner Connect Awards will launch in 2027 and will continue annually to formally recognize partners driving exceptional growth, delivery excellence, and ecosystem innovation. It will serve as a celebration of top performers across Optro’s global channels.
“As enterprises and public sector organizations across North America navigate increasingly complex compliance demands, having seamless procurement and trusted aggregation is vital,” said Mike Allers, Vice President, Cybersecurity Business Development at TD SYNNEX.
“Expanding our partnership with Optro through the new Distributor track allows TD SYNNEX to leverage our vast B2B network of VARs, system integrators, and service providers to scale Optro’s GRC Intelligence Platform. Together, we are simplifying enterprise procurement and equipping thousands of resellers with the infrastructure and solutions needed to transform risk into opportunity,” Allers added.
What the changes mean for resellers and service providers
For MSPs, VARs, and other solution providers, the expanded program offers opportunities to build out governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practices without having to develop every capability internally.
Optro’s new technology integrations could help partners automate compliance workflows, while the distributor track could simplify procurement and expand access to enterprise customers. The growth funding initiative also offers potential support for partners looking to invest in GRC-focused services.
As with all programs, though, the value of these enhancements will ultimately depend on funding eligibility, partner economics, and how effectively providers can translate the platform’s capabilities into recurring services revenue.
