Autonomous IT organization Tanium is joining forces with ServiceNow to deliver a joint Autonomous IT solution, ITOM AI Prime.

This bundled offering integrates Tanium Autonomous IT Platform with ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) AI Prime into a single solution.

Tanium and ServiceNow continue to support integrated workflows across IT operations

The joint solution provides a closed loop between real-time endpoint trust provided by Tanium and intelligent workflow orchestration from ServiceNow.

By adding Tanium’s real-time endpoint intelligence and autonomous actions to ServiceNow workflows, customers reduce investigation time, minimize manual effort, and drive more efficient, governed IT operations at scale.

ITOM AI Prime is designed to reduce operational complexity, improve the accuracy of the configuration management database (CMDB), and help safely scale AI-driven IT operations.

“Most organizations want autonomous IT, but can’t get there because their automation is built on stale data. We’ve solved that. Tanium gives ServiceNow continuous, accurate endpoint truth, and together we close the loop from detection to remediation without manual intervention,” said Herman Kaur, Chief Technology Officer at Tanium.

“This sets a new baseline for the industry: real-time visibility, AI-driven decision-making, and autonomous remediation, unified for the first time in a single offering.”

Endpoint data automation reduces remediation time

Tanium feeds real-time endpoint data into ServiceNow CMDB, enabling workflows to trigger against accurate asset state and AI agents to make decisions grounded in real-time telemetry and remediation. It’s approved through change processes without manual intervention.

“Together with Tanium, we’ve fundamentally changed how endpoints are managed and secured at scale – 60 percent reduction in MTTR, autonomous patching, and a clear path to our bold goal of zero breaches,” said Sankha Naghoudhury, SVP, Digital Business Services and Experiences at ServiceNow. “This is execution at scale, and we look forward to extending this proven value to customers.”

ServiceNow updates from Knowledge 2026

This news also comes on the heels of ServiceNow’s Knowledge 2026 event in Las Vegas, where the company announced updates across its AI Control Tower, Autonomous Workforce, data intelligence, and security capabilities.

These updates give enterprises a single platform that delivers the entire AI value chain from data to decision to execution and trust.

The organization also introduced ServiceNow Otto, a new enterprise AI experience that unifies conversational AI, autonomous workflows, and enterprise search into a single experience.

“Knowledge 2026 is where the world comes to witness the next frontier of innovation: the Autonomous Platform where AI thinks and workflows act,” said Bill McDermott, chairman and CEO of ServiceNow.

“This is the moment ServiceNow moves beyond the platform and platforms to become the AI agent of agents – connecting any model, any cloud, and any data source. We’ve built the only platform that can sense across the enterprise, decide the right action, act across any workflow or application, and secure every step. We are the rules and rails of business.”

ServiceNow is making strides this year to help enterprises govern AI agents across workflows. Read more about ServiceNow’s updates to provide enterprises with AI that senses, decides, and securely acts.
