hey Channel insiders I'm your host Katie boso and welcome to this episode of partner POV brought to you by Eden the AI Revolution is happening right before our eyes how are you the managed service providers and resellers powering the world's businesses ensuring your clients are ready to use the latest technology while also building your portfolio of offerings Eden can help help you gain market share in this space with leading Solutions knowledge and support I'd now like to welcome my guest today Steve lobe vice president of distributed infrastructure sales and Donna St Dennis Channel marketing director both from Eaton thank you both for joining me today thank you so let's get started talking about AI it is the topic on everyone's mind AI tools are being built into workflows across nearly every industry right now but customers and even some Partners may not think about power and infrastructure when considering AI what Solutions has Eaton built specifically for AI technology and how do you help your partners enable their customers to be AI ready thanks Katie so Eden has been Building Solutions prior to the AI boom which actually aligns the needs of these very dense very power hungry applications today one of which is our G4 high density rack power distribution units these pdus are designed to support a wide range of capacity requirements both physically and electrically uh we are competitively priced and carry a fair amount of inventory which has allowed us to react quickly to the aggressive expansion related to the AI and gen kind of Market boo that you've uh you've see today another example would be uh Eden's new Sr rack enclosure line which boasts a 5,000 pound static load rating and a 3500 pound Dynamic capacity which is ideal to support the weight of fully integrated AI servers within this structure uh this line also includes modular mounting points to allow for installation of biometric locks cable routing ducks and strips uh and also directed shift cooling manifolds in the rear of the rack is needed one of the cool things beyond the technical capabilities of these racks and power distribution units is also how we develop these products and their packaging to align to our sustainability goals we've reduced our packaging and our Logistics Footprints uh to help decrease our cover footprint overall as you've seen the expansion of these AI kind of power onry servers kind of going counter to some sustainability practices we're trying to do it on the manufacturing side design side to offset some of those impacts with our product and packaging designs so excited that you brought up sustainability Steve that is something that is really integrating into the artificial intelligence conversation now as we move forward let's continue this conversation how is eaten helping Channel Partners sell these solutions that you mentioned Steve with confidence do they need to already be experts in selling power when they enter into the partnership that's the great thing uh about working with e no our partners do not need to be experts in the physical infrastructure space to be successful our our sales organization my sales organization specifically has 30 2 solution Architects and pre-sales Engineers available on demand to supplement our partner community's technical capabilities and competencies if you need a conference call last minute or an on-site power assessment the same week we have you covered through our dedicated phone numbers and email address boxes uh where you can interact with a live person uh the minute you call or the minute that you uh you send an email in uh these resources have been aligned across our channels uh a portion of them sit within the regions and within the geographies where our customers are and are all technical experts on E's full portfolio physical infrastructure and connectivity products to support our partners growth uh and pursuit of these uh where their focus may be on more of the storage switch or compute devices to support these applications let's talk about money what kind of margins can new partners expect when they join the eaten power Advantage partner program and how do you reward Partners to incentivize them to keep growing with eaten so once they register into our program they have the opportunity to register their opportunities and get a discount a friend discount and the discount gets richer as they level up with Eon there's three levels everybody comes in at the registered level and they could go up to the premier level and each level at the two other levels they do have some Revenue threshold we were able in May to relaunch the program and make it even richer where as they level up the discounts are increased so that's The Upfront discount and on the back end if they close and we're hoping they close that opportunity with etin they could get a reward of spiff on an etin Visa debit card where we literally spiff the 8,000 SKS that we have available from $5 up to $400 so right there you have a pretty rich program where you have discounts and you're able to grow your business and have the margins in order to sustain your business and grow your power and connectivity with us candidly I've heard a lot of great things about the eaten debit card so I know that your partners are enjoying that and going on from there Donna how are you helping your new partners find Opportunities and close deals actually why don't we let our partners tell you exactly how they feel about the program so the MDF funds to us are very critical and very appreciated from the vendor part of it um but it allows us to go to multiple events that we probably or might not be able to hand or do on our own the other one would be for the deal registration program so that part is awesome too cuz it helps support us give the best deal for our client on the end for the projects that they're working on knowing how incredible the technology is all the investments in Innovation and the quality really gives us Pride to go out and when we get to represent Eaton and introduce our customers to such a impactful and valuable partnership that's really what what brings us the most um when we talk about eating evaluate the program compared to what you're already in and I think you'll find that the power Advantage Program is going to be topnotch and better than others oh Donna Steve thank you so much for letting your partners share their thoughts with us my last question today is if I'm a potential partner and I'm interested in learning more about the eaten power Advantage partner program where can I go to learn more and sign up our website the power advantage. eon.com very easy registration page and you'll be in within 24 hours and somebody will be contacting you to help onboard you we got you from there well Donna Steve thank you both for your time today it's been a pleasure getting to speak with you thank you for the opportunity Katie and we're looking forward to engaging with new partners thank you Katie thank you for giving us access and be able to speak to our partners here in the community that we love so much and uh very passionate about supporting and very excited for all the opportunities that we have together going into uh the rest of this year and beyon thank you yes thank you so much I'm excited to hear the stories about partnering empowering the businesses of today for more episodes of partner POV check out channel insider.com once again I'm Katie boso and I'll see you next time
