Kyle Wentworth, CEO and Founder of Wentworth Consulting Group, provides fractional CTO, CIO, and CISO services to businesses who don’t have one of those positions on staff full time. Wentworth says all businesses need a CTO because the CEO should not make important decisions about IT and tech, as that position often lacks the knowledge and experience to do so. However, Wentworth says much of the foundational knowledge of IT is eroding, and that’s why co-managed IT is so important. But, if an MSP and business leader don’t know how to communicate, the IT problems won’t be fixed. That’s where Wentworth and his team can act as “IT translators.”
