More reports of executive changes inside of Dell. A Wall Street Journal report says that Martin Garvin, the vice president who led the company’s procurement efforts and supplier relationships is retiring, and Thomas Welch, a vice president in the legal department is also leaving.
Late last week a Network World blog post questioned whether Cisco had engaged in channel stuffing to achieve its most recently reported quarterly results. Cisco responded on its own official blog, calling the allegations a serious and inaccurate claim.
Sage Software, known for its channel-friendliness and its ACT, small business CRM software, and dozens of other titles, reported higher profits based on European growth, but said that the U.S. market continued to be troublesome. Here’s the report in the Telegraph online.
