GitGuardian, a non-human identity and secrets security organization, has unveiled its channel partner program for VARs, solution providers, and MSSPs.

Growing demand for secrets security solutions

The new program offers competitive margins, technical training, and dedicated support to help partners meet the growing demand for security solutions.

GitGuardian operates within the growing market for “secrets security” and governance. “Secrets” are programmatic access keys, generated as long, random alphanumeric strings.

These random alphanumeric keys make it difficult to obtain any information about who created them, when, or for what purpose.

When these secrets are mishandled, it can lead to unauthorized access, data breaches, and financial and reputational losses.

“As secrets security becomes mission-critical for every enterprise undergoing digital transformation, our channel partners play a critical role in supporting detection and response at scale,” said Alex Rich, VP of sales and channel, U.S., at GitGuardian.

“We’ve designed our program based on direct partner feedback with the goal of ensuring our partners can build thriving, high-impact secrets security practices. With the secrets security market growing exponentially, there’s never been a better time for solution providers to partner with GitGuardian,” Rich continued.

Channel-first approach promises deal registration and protections

GitGuardian’s new channel program is designed to eliminate vendor-partner tension with a partner-first strategy.

Among the features of the program are:

  • Compensation neutrality: Sales reps earn the same commission on partner deals as on direct sales, fostering true collaboration rather than competition.
  • Deal registration with protection: Program partners will receive financial incentives and protection based on their role in the deal.
  • Renewal incumbency: Partners retain the right to renewals for customers they bring in, protecting long-term revenue.

“Our channel-first philosophy isn’t just marketing. It’s built into how we compensate our teams and protect our partners,” said Lynne Lopez, director of partnerships at GitGuardian. “When our sales reps earn the same commission whether they work with a partner or go direct, they become true collaborators, not competitors. Combined with comprehensive deal registration protection and renewal incumbency rights, our partners can confidently invest in building secrets security practices knowing we’re committed to their long-term success.”

By joining the partner program, organizations can gain access to:

  • Marketing Development Funds (MDF) for events, webinars, content, and lead generation.
  • Co-branded collateral, sales scripts, and prospecting guides.
  • Joint press releases, blog posts, and social media campaigns.
  • Co-developed customer case studies and testimonials.

“GitGuardian’s commitment to the channel and their partner program is a huge driver in our engagement and success so far,” said Arron Duggins, Regional Director EMEA, Nuaware. “We have a dedicated Partner Manager and a team that works closely with us on training, marketing, and collaboration. Thank you, GitGuardian team, we look forward to doing even more together in 2026.”
