Data management and cybersecurity company Quest Software has launched the Quest Trusted Data Management Platform, featuring Automated Data Product Factory — a unified SaaS-native solution built to deliver trusted, AI-ready data at speed and scale.

Using AI to automate data product creation

According to the company, the platform unifies five core capabilities:

  • data modeling
  • data catalog,
  • data governance,
  • data quality,
  • and a data marketplace

Quest Software says it enables data products to be delivered 54 percent faster than traditional approaches, helping address the challenges associated with using disparate data tools.

Among its features, Quest Software highlighted Automated Data Product Factory as “transformative.”

It’s a new capability that uses AI to automate the creation of production-ready data products by using natural language prompts.

“By utilizing natural language, the platform will translate business-critical needs into governed, trusted data products ready for use in AI initiatives, giving users up to a 70% faster data modeling cycle, reducing time from weeks into days,” Quest Software said in a statement.

Quest Software’s trust scoring framework

Alongside the data product factory, the new solution also includes a transparent and explainable trust scoring system.

Built around a nine-component trust score network, it quantifies data trustworthiness across areas such as data quality, user ratings, governance completeness, timeliness, lifecycle, popularity, and more.

Quest Software says the system can deliver up to a 40 percent total cost reduction.

“The scores are customizable and embedded directly into the platform, giving customers confidence to act on data without second-guessing, and can be tailored for their usage,” the company said in a statement.

“With AI-data drift detection that continuously detects any underlying data changes with automatic trust score updates, organizations can achieve up to five times their return on investment with Quest’s platform,” it added.

Empowering broader AI adoption and enabling channel partners to succeed

Quest Software believes its new platform offers a high‑value opportunity for channel partners to help customers ensure long-term success, particularly in creating trusted data products that can empower broader AI adoption.

In its official press release, the company pointed to analytics consulting firm Tiger Analytics as a key use case. Tiger Analytics helps enterprises solve complex business challenges using data and AI, delivering analytics solutions across industries worldwide.

According to the firm, Quest Software consolidates several key tools to reduce complexity and accelerate the data product development process.

“We’re often asked to step in when data product delivery slows down or becomes harder to sustain. Across industries, the root causes tend to be similar—teams operating in silos, fragmented data foundations, and delivery cycles that stretch from weeks into months,” said Ravi Shankar, senior partner, data transformation at Tiger Analytics.

“Quest Software is bringing together capabilities that have traditionally lived in separate tools—data modeling, metadata, data quality, and governance—into a more cohesive foundation. By reducing complexity and manual effort, this approach can improve both the speed and consistency of data product development. For organizations investing in AI and advanced analytics, this represents a more practical way to align data modeling and data product delivery with the pace and scale those initiatives require,” Shankar added.

Last year, Quest Software introduced a new company strategy focused on helping customers succeed with AI. Learn more about the key priorities behind this approach and how Quest plans to deliver on them for both customers and partners.
