Commvault, a provider of cyber resilience and data protection solutions for the hybrid cloud, and Deloitte, a professional services organization, have strategically partnered to help organizations build resiliency and stay ahead of evolving threats.
Partnership offers new capabilities across cyber threat management
The duo will see the integration of Commvault’s advanced cyber resilience solutions with Deloitte’s cyber defense and response capabilities and industry experience. Together, the two offer joint clients broad capabilities for cyber threat management, encompassing proactive prevention, detection, response, and recovery.
“Our strategic alliance with Deloitte represents a significant advancement in cyber resilience,” said Alan Atkinson, Chief Partner Officer at Commvault. “By combining Commvault’s cyber resilience technologies with Deloitte’s deep technical knowledge in cyber detection and response, we are creating a formidable defense for our joint customers against today’s most sophisticated cyber threats.”
Commvault and Deloitte are working together to help organizations through the three stages of a cyber incident to maintain operations:
- Before an attack: The two will assist organizations in understanding and defining their minimum viability—the critical set of applications, assets, processes, and people required to operate their business following an attack or outage. Commvault’s Cleanroom Recovery can then assist enterprises in assessing their minimum viability and testing their recovery plans in advance, allowing them to know when they’re attacked and recover rapidly.
- During an attack: Combining Deloitte’s cyber risk services and Commvault’s AI-enabled anomaly detection capabilities to help joint clients identify and mitigate potential threats before they escalate.
- Post-attack: With Deloitte’s incident response capabilities and Commvault’s cloud platform, which includes unique resilience offerings such as Cloud Rewind, Clumio Backtrack, and Cleanroom Recovery, organizations can quickly recover, minimize downtime, and operate in a state of continuous business.
Further, the collaboration is designed to scale with evolving enterprise needs and offers adaptive solutions to protect businesses as they grow. It offers specialized insights to help enhance both protection and recovery efforts, aiding organizations in navigating cyber threats with confidence.
“In an era where cyber threats are more pervasive than ever, our collaboration with Commvault aims to advance cyber resilience for our joint clients,” said David Nowak, Principal, Deloitte & Touche LLP. “Together, we are offering a strategic and broad solution that not only helps our clients fortify their defenses, but also helps with recovering from outages and cyberattacks.”
Commvault’s Cyber Recovery Alliance
Commvault has been fostering partnerships to expand its cyber recovery capabilities. This month, it expanded its partnership with CrowdStrike, a global cybersecurity provider.
Through the expanded partnership, Commvault and CrowdStrike are partnering to deliver a trusted pathway to CrowdStrike’s incident response services, supported by Commvault’s recovery expertise.
“Today’s threat landscape demands more than just security– it requires resilience,” said Atkinson. “Our expanded partnership with CrowdStrike brings together exceptional incident response capabilities from CrowdStrike and leading data recovery and resilience solutions from Commvault to help joint customers identify and quickly address cyber incidents and recover swiftly and effectively.”
The expanded partnership works to enable organizations globally to recover from cyberattacks more quickly and remain better prepared for them.
The two companies will deliver coordinated cyber recovery and incident response services, enabling joint customers to enhance their readiness, respond more quickly, and achieve cleaner recoveries.
Alliances continue to boost cyber resilience in the channel and allow just customers to respond to cyberattacks without losing business continuity. Read more about the Halcyon-Pax8 alliance on ransomware.
