She is an autonomous car that needs no human driver, and was designed and built by The Technical University of Braunschweig and based on the Volkswagen Passat. Team CarOLO is made up of 35 students and research associates who developed the autonomous car using cameras, sensors, artificial intelligence, software and lasers.
