DocuSign Melds Process, Paper, Technology into Management Solution - DocuSign's Latest Features
    ( Page 2 of 4 )

    New features include:

    Resource Library:
    • Real-time e-form data collection—using the new SecureFields technology that allows data fields of all types to be assigned to specific recipients in a transaction workflow, and enables straight-through processing.

    • PowerForms—secure DocuSignable PDF forms that can be distributed in any fashion and can be electronically signed and routed with centralized control. Includes rights management controls for different users.

    • Bulk Sending with Data Integration—allows contracts to be automatically sent to thousands of recipients with custom fields and workflow on each one.

    • Freeform Signing—allows recipients to sign simple contracts by dragging and dropping their signatures, initials and other elements into the document where the contract indicates.

    • Intelligent Document Recognition—uses AI to recognized contracts and apply the proper workflow to them on the fly.

    • Web Services API—enables businesses to integrate DocuSign into their existing applications enabling full automation of the contract execution phase.

The new features combined with the product's existing capabilities help to remove any excuse for businesses to still use paper in the contracting process. Getting started with the product is relatively easy, thanks to the SAAS model used.

Businesses will need an account with DocuSign, and will have to install the DocuSign Professional client on an appropriate Windows system, preferably a system used by the individual who manages contracts in the company.
