There is some good news for service providers: Price is one of the least important factors in a CIO's mind when it comes to selecting a solution provider, with only 12 percent saying price influences their decision making. Many CIOs may have already been burned on the "get what you pay for scenario," and most CIOs now count value and service as being much more important than price. CIOs, it seems, are prepared to pay for peace of mind when it comes to choosing their provider.
