    Workers express a mixed view of the state of the economy, with a third believing that things are improving. Just over 40 percent believe they can find a new job.

    Just over a third of nearly 4,000 workers believe the economy is improving and just over 40 percent are confident they can find a new job, according to a study conducted by staffing firm Technisource. The Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based company tracks IT worker confidence and reported last week that it is slightly up at an increase of 0.8 percent at 51.6 percent. In its last survey in the fourth quarter of 2009, the index was at 50.8.
