Channel Insider now has the answers for what CIOs really want, thereby revealing the secrets that every VAR needs and wants to know
Ziff Davis Enterprise Research conducted online surveys from Jan. 26 to Feb. 12, 2008, and the target sample was IT directors and managers in companies of 50+ employees with at least $5 million in annual revenue who use service providers. A total of 245 qualified respondents took the survey.
And some of the answers may surprise you. They do not rate price very highly when selecting a solution provider, for example. They are looking for their VAR to provide technical analysis and demonstrate better ROI than ever before. And, they are looking for backup and recovery and hosted services as their priorities for 2008.
