Two and a half months after it launched its formal partner program,
PartnerDirect, in the
United States,
Dell is ready to export it.
The PC maker announced Feb. 12 that PartnerDirect is now available in
Europe
and in
Canada.
The programs offer the same features as the program in the
United
States—a two-tier program supported by
Dell's sales force that Dell says is designed to reward value, not volume. It
will also include deal registration to help minimize channel conflict, Dell
said.

Canada
starting on March 17. It did not specify a date for deal registration
availability in
Europe.

PartnerDirect in
Canada. As
vice president of channel programs, he will implement the PartnerDirect program
within Dell's commercial and SMB businesses in
Canada.
He previously worked as a director in Dell's services organization.
