    Computer Associates initiates an ISP partner program, Signiant announces a new partner program, SonicWall launches a secure wireless technology alliance, SCO partners with Cymphonix, Siebel signs two partners to its alliance program, and Ingram Micro signs UCN.

    CA Debuts ISP Partner Program

    Computer Associates International Inc., of Islandia, N.Y., has introduced a worldwide ISP (Internet service provider) partner program that delivers its eTrust security software to ISPs around the world.

    The global launching of the ISP partner program expands its reach from North America, where it has been operating since 2003. According to Adam Famularo, vice president of global OEM sales, the program has been expanded because of the growing need for PC users around the world to have more effective security tools, as well as customer demand.

    Signiant Initiates New Partner Program

    Signiant Inc., a Burlington, Mass., vendor of wide-area data management solutions, has announced the Signiant Advantage Partner Program, offering a host of benefits to storage-focused resellers.

    Partners receive consulting, training and support programs; demand generation; a toolkit; marketing collateral; product demonstrations; and technical support through an online knowledge base.

    Siebel Signs Two to Alliance Program

    Siebel Systems Inc., of San Mateo, Calif., has signed two new partners to its Siebel Alliance Program, a program available to partners that have passed its program validating solutions for use with its business applications.

    InfoNow Corp., a provider of channel visibility and channel management solutions based in Denver, has joined the Alliance Program as a software partner, while Loyalty Partner, a provider of loyalty programs in Europe, has joined as a consulting partner. Both partners' solutions have been certified to work with Siebel's CRM (customer relationship management), business intelligence and customer data integration solutions.

    SonicWall Launches Secure Wireless Technology Alliance

    SonicWall Inc., a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Internet security vendor, has formed a wireless technology alliance that offers partners collateral, interoperability testing and solution documentation.

    Founding members of the wireless technology alliance include Axis Communications, a developer of network IP video and digital surveillance technology; HyperLink Technologies, a developer of extended-range wireless LAN and wireless Internet systems; and PowerDsine, a provider of power-over-Ethernet technology that allows power to be transmitted over the same network cable as data.

    SCO Partners with Cymphonix

    The SCO Group Inc. of Lindon, Utah, has announced a partnership with Cymphonix Corp., a network management solution provider based in Sandy, Utah.

    Under the terms of the agreement, the Cymphonix Network Composer, an integrated network appliance designed to provide network administrators with visibility, control and protection over network resources, will be distributed through SCO's distribution channels.

    UCN Joins Ingram Micro's ISV Program

    UCN Inc., a Salt Lake City-based provider of data and voice services and contact handling software services, has joined the ISV program of distributor Ingram Micro of Santa Ana, Calif.

    As an ISV program member, VARs, software developers and systems integrators will be able to sell UCN's hosted telephony products, including the inContact contact handling solution and its Intelligent-T dedicated voice product to its customers.
