Channel Insider is going international with the launch of four European, local-language partner sites.

In a partnership with Ziff Davis Enterprise, NetMediaEurope launched versions of Channel Insider in France (www.channelinsider.fr), Germany (www.channelinsider.de), Spain (www.channelinsider.es) and Italy (www.channelinsider.it).

News, intelligence and research published by the primary North America-version of Channel Insider will be available to the European partners. The European partners will also publish local channel content that specific to their constituencies.

"The channel differs greatly in each geographic region and each country, but the common threat in each channel market is the underlying technology and the need for collaboration," said Lawrence M. Walsh, vice president and group publisher of Channel Insider. "Through this growing network of international partners, Channel Insider will enhance its position as a rich resource of domestic and international channel perspectives, and a facilitator of multinational collaboration among vendors and solution providers.”

NetMediaEurope was founded in July 2007 after a successful management buyout of the online assets of VNU Business Media Europe (a VNU branch, now known as The Nielsen Company) in four countries. Recognized as Europe's pre-eminent B2B media/marketing firm for the IT professional and technology marketer audience, the company's portfolio of more than 40 web sites includes such brands as VNUnet, The Inquirer, PC Professional, Gizmodo and Silicon.

This partnership is part of Ziff Davis Enterprise's overall strategy to expand the global reach of its editorial and marketing programs through an extensive network of best-of-breed international partners that serve national markets.

“We are thrilled to partner with Ziff Davis Enterprise," said Dominique Busso, CEO of NetMediaEurope. "It's an honor to bring the Channel Insider brand to the discerning European IT community. Our insight into the European marketing needs of the B2B technology marketer and Ziff Davis Enterprise's extensive portfolio of integrated marketing programs will be a winning combination for our mutual clients."

NetMediaEurope is also launching local versions of eWEEK, the industry’s leading end-user IT magazine and Web site.
