Jim Corgel is responsible for IBM's worldwide relationship with ISVs, which contributes to approximately one-third of IBM's revenue. Jim has been at IBM for more than 30 years, holding a variety of positions. Prior to his current role, Jim led IBM's services solutions for SMBs (small and midsize businesses). In this role he developed solutions around SMBs and helped partners sell IBM services.
Corgel also has helped VARs to understand that IGS (IBM Global Services) was working with them to target the midmarket and helped IGS to understand the workings of the midmarket--a big shift from its large enterprise roots.
