Ravindra "Ravi" Marwaha was named general manager, IBM Global Business Partners, in October 2006. Ravi has had a 36-year career with IBM: Prior to his current channel-focused role, he was president of Asia Pacific and senior vice president of the Lenovo Group. He has held a variety of senior positions at IBM, including vice president of worldwide sales for IBM's Personal Systems Group (2003 to 2005) and general manager for the Personal Computing Division, covering the Asia Pacific region (1999 to 2003).

Since becoming head of Global Business Partners, Ravi has been driving forward the IBM notion of a partner ecosystem. He has also been part of Big Blue's push to make it easier for partners to do business with IBM.
