3. Jason Beal, Director of Sales, Services Division, Ingram Micro
Jason Beal joined Ingram Micro in 2005 and led the effort to open up the IMSN(Ingram Micro Services Network) to all of Ingram's partners, which enabled more VARs to take advantage of the distributor's professional services. This also led to a deal with Best Buy, whereby the firm turned to IMSN to handle big implementations that its Geek Squad services were unable to provide.
Beal was also behind the idea to offer VARs help with their staffing—one of the major issues in the channel—by giving VARs the ability to tap into Ingram to find temporary, full-time, part-time talent in technical and sales for half the price of traditional headhunters.
