Although NetApp has had somewhat of a mixed channel approach, Iventosch has ensured that the vendor has continued to increase its focus on solution providers. He helped to create the Very Important Partner program at NetApp, which saw the vendor drive a significant amount of revenue and leads through the channel.

Ivenosch has also help raised the profile of the channel within NetApp's services business, helping to emphasize the services offered by the channel over NetApp's own services to end users.
