1. Know Your Source Purchase products only from reputable distributors or direct from vendors. Steer clear of unknown Internet storefronts and phone solicitations for bargain goods and software.
2. Don't Fall for a Good Price Counterfeit equipment and pirated software are priced much lower than their legal counterparts. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
