Watch out for vendors that make lots of changes to their channel programs and/or terms and conditions throughout the year. One or two changes once a year at a partner summit or conference is acceptable. Even if these are monumental changes, it shows the vendor has enough patience and thought to wait and do all its changes together at a specified time. Vendors who make little changes throughout the year are unlikely to be reliable in the channel.
