Synnex said its new On Demand Services provide VARs with recurring revenue streams and longer term contracts, which in turn create greater loyalty between the reseller and user.

Synnex is breaking service offering into four categories: field services, managed services, edge services and professional services.
The On Demand component of the new services offering features three vendors: DS3 Datavaulting for managed remote data backup and disaster recovery services; Perimeter eSecurity, which provides VARs with more than 50 managed security services, from intrusion detection and prevention to hosted anti-virus and antispam; and itControl Suite, a network management offering.
On Demand field services consists of peripheral, server, desktop and network installations, plus hardware contract maintenance and hardware recycling services. Synnex's On Demand Edge Services offer VOIP, remote PBX, print management and remote digital signage, offered on a monthly basis allowing users to pay only for what they use. On Demand Professional Services group focuses on delivering proof-of-concept field tests and capability planning/assessment studies to help VARs and their users make the most of their infrastructure through virtualization.
