Ingram Micro Mobility Canada Partners With Phobio
Ingram Micro Mobility Canada, a subsidiary of Ingram Micro Inc., will enhance its trade value for customers via a new partnership with Phobio, a retail mobile device trade-in provider. The partnership strengthens Ingram Micro Mobility's mobile device buyback capabilities and trade-in services in Canada. Phobio currently partners with more than 5,000 retail locations to provide trade-in services throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.
In other news, Ingram Micro secured a state of Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) contract to resell Xplore Technologies' complete lineup of rugged tablet computers. The DIR contract, valid through October 2016, enables state and local governments, public education institutes and other public agencies in Texas to buy any of Xplore's ultra-rugged, fully rugged or rugged tablet PCs and accessories through Ingram Technologies and its assigned reseller vendors.

Comtrend Intros End-to-End Surveillance Solutions
Comtrend launched its new end-to-end surveillance solution with local and cloud storage options. Offering new recurring revenue opportunities for service providers, these surveillance solutions will include the hardware, software and support needed for service providers to deploy surveillance systems for their customers. With the cloud storage, service providers can offer multiple new services such as active system status monitoring and concierge services. They also will be able to actively monitor the health of their customers' surveillance systems with features, such as motion sensor alerts, camera connect/disconnect alerts, and recording start/stop alerts.
BitTitan Releases Microsoft Azure Starter Kit
BitTitan, a cloud services provider, launched the Microsoft Azure Starter Kit to help drive new revenue for IT service providers. The starter kit is available exclusively through BitTitan's end-to-end cloud services enablement platform, MSPComplete. The kit offers tools and sales education to help partners sell, on-board and service Microsoft Azure without special training or certifications. The kit is comprised of three key components: HealthCheck for Azure, Database Migration and Cloud Storage Migration.
