Neovera Joins Sophos Partner Program
Neovera, a provider of IT consulting, cyber-security solutions, and infrastructure management services, joined the Sophos Partner Program. Sophos is a 100 percent channel-focused company. As a partner, Neovera will offer the company's line of Unified Threat Management (UTM), Web, email, endpoint, mobile, network and data protection solutions.
Westcon-Comstor Partners With RingCentral
RingCentral, a provider of cloud business communication and collaboration solutions, and Westcon-Comstor (WestconGroup), a value-added technology distributor, announced a new distribution partnership. Under the agreement, Westcon-Comstor will distribute RingCentral cloud communications solutions through its reseller network in the United States.
WISeKey, CenturyLink to Collaborate on Security for IoT Providers
WISeKey, a cyber-security company, and CenturyLink, Inc., a global communications, hosting, cloud and IT services company, signed a collaboration agreement to jointly offer a managed digital identity solution for Internet of things (IoT) providers. The agreement will explore analytics cyber-security solutions for IoT providers where they may collaborate on joint solutions.
CliQr Doubles Channel Partners in 2015
CliQr, an application-defined cloud management platform provider, doubled the number of channel partners in 2015, and appointed a new director of channel sales, Cisco alumnus Scott Mohr, to support and expand the program membership. The reseller partner program is comprised of full-service IT solution resellers, referral partners and delivery partners that meet CliQr's criteria for cloud application services expertise. New partners include Agitare Technologies, CompuNet, DataHub, Denali Advanced Integration, EvoTek, Kaizen Technology Partners, Kovarus, OpsVision, Orasi Software, vCORE and World Wide Technology. In 2016, the company plans to expand on the East Coast and in Europe.
AlienVault Appoints VP of Worldwide Channel Sales
AlienVault, a provider of Unified Security Management and crowd-sourced threat intelligence, appointed Anthony D'Angelo as vice president, worldwide channel sales. D'Angelo will head the company's worldwide channel strategy and work with distributors and partners to identify new growth opportunities.
Zebra Technologies Hires Channel Exec
Zebra Technologies, a global provider of solutions and services that provide real-time visibility into organizations' assets, people and transactions, appointed Bill Cate as vice president of its Channel Strategy, Programs, and Operations. Cate's role is to strengthen the company's indirect channel strategy with a focus on the launch and ongoing management of the new PartnerConnect program and tools that attract and retain value-added channel partners. Cate previously served as senior director, Global Sales & Channel Operations for Motorola Solutions.
Guidance Software Adds New Channel Leadership
Guidance Software, makers of EnCase for digital investigations and endpoint data security, appointed Scott Skidmore as vice president, global channel sales, and Jeff Hines as group vice president of sales for the Americas. Skidmore will manage the global channel sales organization and program and Hines will grow and manage a direct Americas sales teams. Together, the focus is to expand the company's sales and channel operations and related investments and programs.
