Tech Data Rolls Out TDCloud Worldwide
Tech Data announced the global launch of TDCloud, powered by StreamOne, the company's end-to-end provisioning, billing and marketing engine for solution providers. The Tech Data Cloud Solutions Store is now available to partners in Canada, France and the United Kingdom, and will be launched across Europe in a phased rollout over the coming weeks. The Tech Data Cloud Solutions Store is part of TDCloud, a dedicated business that provides education, enablement and assistance with transitioning to cloud- and subscription-based models.
The Solutions Store enables solution providers and managed service providers (MSPs) to administer and control the entire cloud services delivery process in an app store-like environment, said Tech Data. This includes from initial assessment and quoting to the provisioning and ongoing management of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and software-as- a-service (SaaS) from technology providers.
In addition, the Solutions Store can be used to manage multiple revenue models and billing cycles, including pre-pay subscriptions, licensing and renewals, and consumption-based use. The global distributor also recently added full support for Microsoft's Cloud Solution Provider program through the Solutions Store, which makes it easier for solution providers and MSPs to offer and support Microsoft cloud products and services, such as Office 365 and Azure.
Pure Storage Adds New Partner Tier, Enhances Offering
Pure Storage, a solid-state array vendor, has enhanced its FlashStack Converged Infrastructure (CI) offering with the addition of the FlashStack CI Accreditation partner tier under the P3 Partner Program, and announced the addition of Microsoft SQL Server and Citrix XenDesktop configurations to the Pure Storage FlashArray product family as part of the FlashStack CI offering.
FlashStack CI customers now can receive support from a FlashStack Authorized Support Partner or directly from the infrastructure vendors: Pure Storage, VMware and Cisco. FlashStack CI streamlines the implementation of all-flash infrastructure for enterprises and service providers.
EnGenius Unveils Partner Program for MSPs
EnGenius Technologies, a provider of high-performance networking and telecommunications solutions, launched a new partner program aimed at helping its MSP partners. Program features include a special financing option, perpetual rebates, trade-in program, business development funds, deal registration and advanced replacement policy.
They also have access to a MSP Hotline, free technical and management platform support and design services, and certification trainings. Other benefits include an MSP Partner Logo that validates the MSP's wireless expertise through the EnGenius partnership and MSP Locator that expands the MSP's exposure to potential customers.
Paragon Offers New Toolkit for IT Resellers
Paragon Software Group, a provider in hard-disk management, backup and disaster recovery (BDR) technology, announced the Hard Disk Manager (HDM) 15 IT Essentials Toolkit for IT resellers. The new toolkit, available exclusively through the Paragon Pure Channel network of reseller partners across North America, ensures that their customers' business-critical workstations and servers stay up and running and available 24/7.
The launch of the new toolkit follows Paragon's April introduction of its Unified Site License, which simplifies selling for the reseller through pricing that is tiered according to the number of employees an end-user company has.
HeatSync Launches Partner Program
HeatSync, a small business competitive intelligence service, launched its new Partner Program for Web hosting companies. The program will enable Web hosting companies to generate additional revenue while also delivering more value in the form of data analytics to their customers, the companies said.
Hosting companies that sign up for the HeatSync Partner Program can earn more than $75.00 per new customer. LunarPages, CoolHandle, Pacific Host and other hosting companies have already joined the program.
ADARA, Skyline Sign VAR Agreement
ADARA Networks, a software-defined networking (SDN) specialist, and Skyline Advanced Technology Services, a provider of networking training, professional services and hardware sales for Cisco products, announced a channel and training partnership.
Under the agreement, Skyline will resell and implement ADARA's line of advanced SDN solutions, including ADARA cloud fabric, SDN controller, OpenFlow-enabled switches and SDN WAN Virtualization, Acceleration and Optimization. The agreement also gives Skyline the opportunity to develop its first open SDN training program, the company said.
RealServe IT Joins Avecto Partner Community
Avecto, an endpoint security software company, is increasing its global reach with the addition of RealServe IT as a Premier Partner. RealServe IT, which operates in markets across Europe and North America, specializes in cyber-security, cloud applications, application performance and desktop security.
The relationship "puts RealServe IT in a prime position to sell Avecto's Defendpoint software," said Avecto. Defendpoint is an endpoint solution that combines privilege management, application control and sandboxing.
SkySecure Adds Carahsoft to Partner Program
Carahsoft Technology, a government IT solutions provider, joined Skyport Systems' partner program, enabling the company to deliver hyper-secured infrastructure to the government and public sector.
The partnership will help government agencies implement trusted computing and policy enforcement at the application edge to protect critical applications at federal, state and local agencies. The SkySecure System is available immediately via Carahsoft's SEWP V schedule.
Novus Named Polycom Silver Partner
Novus, a provider of telecommunications and IP equipment, has been named a silver partner by Polycom under the communications solutions provider's Global Partner Program. This certifies Novus as a leading channel partner for Polycom's desktop phones and collaboration solutions for Microsoft Lync and Skype for Business. The partner program is segmented by four program levels: authorized, silver, gold and platinum.
Pica8 Supports PoE White-Box Switches
Pica8, a one-stop source for white-box networking, claims it is the first to support Edge-Core's Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) 48-port white-box bare-metal switch. The move is designed to help a variety of service provider customers, including telcos, cloud providers and regional ISPs, offer a wider variety and new services to their end customers with a focus on operational expenditure reduction.
"Switches that support PoE are essential for offering on-premise services such as VOIP and WiFi," said the company.
The company aims to continue adding to its portfolio to offer a one-stop shop for the service provider market.
RingCentral Office Solution Available in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace
RingCentral, a cloud business communications provider and a silver-level member of the Oracle Partner Network (OPN), announced that its RingCentral Office solution is now available in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. RingCentral's integration with Oracle Sales Cloud enables the merger of cloud communications with cloud CRM to improve business communications and workflow efficiency. The Oracle Cloud Marketplace is a one-stop shop for Oracle customers looking for business applications and service providers that offer unique business solutions.
Carbonite Updates Email Archiving Solution
Carbonite, a provider of cloud and hybrid business continuity solutions for small and midsize businesses (SMBs), announced the latest release of its email archiving solution MailStore Server. MailStore Server creates 1:1 copies of all emails in a central archive to ensure compliance, data availability and data security.
New capabilities include a fully integrated job scheduler that eliminates the need for third-party scheduling tools, advanced support for Microsoft Office 365 and improved search functionality. A free 30-day trial version is also available for download.
