After a long absence from public view, former SonicWall channel
chief John DiLullo has surfaced on the other side of the world as
Avaya’s new president of the Asia-Pacific region.

DiLullo had taken an undefined position at Avaya several months ago,
and there was some speculation that he would eventually be appointed to
head its channel operations. However, that honor went to Todd Abbott
and DiLullo has remained largely out of sight until now.

As president of the Asia-Pacific region based in Singapore, DiLullo
will oversee all of the unified communications company’s business
strategy and implementation, customer relations, marketing and channel
programs.

Prior to joining Avaya, DiLullo most recently served as vice
president of worldwide channel sales at SonicWall, a leader of
SMB-class security and storage solutions. He had previously served as
vice president of worldwide distribution at Cisco Systems.
