ADTRAN Revamps Channel Program
ADTRAN has made key changes to its Advantage Partner Program that shift the company's focus to product specialization rather than revenue performance. Resellers will see an increased emphasis on training and support on specific specializations, including ADTRAN Bluesocket wireless products and NetVanta internetworking products, the company said.
The program enhancements are designed to provide partners with more expertise and better tools to sell ADTRAN products. The company also is simplifying the channel program, which includes streamlined processes for distributors, for example, with consolidated pricing and discount levels and a reduction in the deal registration threshold.
SAP Learning Hub Available for Resale
SAP SE has announced that SAP channel partners can now become authorized to resell licenses for SAP Learning Hub, a cloud-based learning offering. The hub is an enablement site for the entire SAP ecosystem, including customers and partners. The site offers more than 4,800 online learning titles across all SAP offerings that are available in three delivery options: self-learning, social learning with SAP experts and peers, and hands-on practice.
Novus Partners With Numonix
Novus, a distributor of telecommunications and IP equipment, has announced Numonix as a new partner. The distributor will resell Numonix's RECITE software solution, a secure call recoding and quality management system, which is qualified for Microsoft Lync 2013. Novus has achieved Microsoft Partner Network Gold Certified Communications Competency.
NTT America, Advantage Communications Forge Partnership
NTT America, the wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, an information and communications technology (ICT) solutions business within NTT Group, and Advantage Communications Group, a broker of telecommunications services, have entered into an agreement that allows Advantage to sell NTT America's suite of domestic and international ICT services. This is the first announced partner of NTT America's Global Solutions Channel Partner Program that was launched at Cloud Partners in September 2014.
Aligned Communications Joins Digium Cloud Master Agent Program
Digium announced that Aligned Communications, a telecommunications master agency, has joined the Digium Cloud Agent Program as a Master Agent. Aligned Communications offers expertise in cloud communications services. The partnership enables Aligned Communications' agents to expand their reach with Digium's Switchvox Cloud Unified Communications (UC) solution, and their commissions in the cloud services market. Digium offers an "all features included" pricing model for Switchvox Cloud.
Parallels Releases Office 365 APS Package
Parallels has released the latest version of its Office 365 APS package, which will support Microsoft partners participating in the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program (CSP). The new version provides Microsoft CSP partners with a solution for automating customer on-boarding, service delivery, bundling related cloud services and building a reseller channel.
Key benefits of the new release include automatic APS package updates to the Office 365 APIs, plug-and-play APS platform integration, and the ability to bundle complementary add-on services and tools. Other services include Web Hosting, infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for greater up-sell and cross-sell potential, said the company. Parallels also recently announced the availability of Parallels Automation 6.0 with enhanced user experience and support for the latest Microsoft cloud services.
TIE Kinetix, Objectif Lune Launch Cloud Business Network
TIE Kinetix and Objectif Lune launched the Connected Business Network, a cloud-based community that streamlines the exchange of electronic documents for businesses. The focus of the network is to improve the efficiency and reduce costs around document management, storage and sharing by enabling seamless electronic document access and exchange between member companies. It addresses B2B integration in five areas: eInvoicing, eDocs, eTablet, eArchiving and EDI. In addition, the companies said the network enables value-added resellers and system integrators to expand their global connections and opportunities by partnering and participating in the community.
