LightRiver Named a Ciena-Authorized Learning Provider
LightRiver Technologies announced its partnership with Ciena, becoming its first North American Authorized Learning Provider (ALP). Ciena is leveraging the long-standing BizConnect partnership with LightRiver to expand the availability of Ciena Learning Solutions. LightRiver technical instructors will provide Ciena Learning Solutions to their joint customers at a newly built Training Center in Concord, Calif., which is fully equipped with Ciena hardware and software needed for hands-on training programs, or at its customers' locations.

Breach Secure Now forged a partnership with iScan Online to help small and midsize businesses (SMBs) locate personally identifiable information (Social Security numbers, credit cards, etc.) across their IT networks. iScan scans files stored on servers, laptops and mobile devices to find proprietary data that is at risk for a breach.
The iScan data breach risk intelligence offering will enable MSPs to deliver risk reporting to small businesses and calculate the liability costs for a data breach and regulatory-related expenses before a breach occurs.
Arrow Expands ArrowSphere Service Provider Platform in North America
Arrow Electronics is expanding its ArrowSphere cloud builder platform and software license and services catalog in North America. The global distributor is now offering the Intel Security Managed Service Specialization and VMware vCloud Air Network programs in the ArrowSphere platform in North America. Arrow said the expansion creates a competitive advantage for MSPs and ISVs in delivering cloud services.

RES Software Appoints VP of Channel Sales
RES Software, a digital workspace technology company, announced that software industry sales veteran Adam Brush has joined the company as vice president of channel sales. He has more than 25 years of channel sales experience at industry leaders IGEL, Dell Wyse, Citrix, Quantum and Intel. Brush will oversee the channel sales team in the Americas, starting on June 1, 2015.
