RapidMiner Expands Partner Network
RapidMiner, an analytics platform provider, has expanded its Global Partner Program with the addition of 12 new partners. These VARs and SIs join a network of business and technical partners that recommend, implement and sell as well as provide specialized services in support of RapidMiner's offering.
In addition to sales and marketing tools, partners receive extensive training and certification. Recently added SIs and VARs include WekaMine (U.S.), PI-Cube (U.S.), Aviation Analytics (U.K.), Clairvoyant Lab (Singapore), GloriSys (Thailand), Horn & Company (Germany), Itecor International (Switzerland), mayato GmbH (Germany and Austria), Quandatics (Malaysia), Sormen Solutions (Singapore), SynergyBI (Dubai) and Think Evolve Solve (Ireland).
Secure Channels, Ingram Micro Sign Distribution Agreement
Secure Channels, a developer of cyber-defense technologies, including authentication and patented encryption technologies that protect data-at-rest, data-in-motion and data-in-process, has signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro that allows the global IT distributor to offer Secure Channel's suite of cyber-security products and services. The partnership makes the Secure Channels portfolio of encryption technologies and IT security offerings available to Ingram Micro resellers.
Avnet Extends Deal With Nutanix
Avnet Technology Solutions has expanded its distribution agreement with Nutanix, the Web-scale converged infrastructure company, to include Mexico. Avnet began distributing Nutanix offerings in 2014 to help expand the company's market presence in Australia, Canada and the United States.
The new deal extends the partnership, providing Avnet's channel partners in Mexico with the Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform, which partners can use to design and develop converged compute and storage infrastructure for virtualized data centers. Partners can also leverage the platform to deploy cloud computing capabilities.
Aerohive Intros Partner Program
Aerohive Networks has introduced the Aerohive Advantage Partner Program, and appointed veteran channel strategist Johnna Bowley as vice president of worldwide sales operations and global channels to lead the new program. The program consists of four pillars—capacity (targeted recruitment), competency (training, certification and tools), engagement (joint marketing and sales collaboration) and profitability (discounts and incentives)—to drive a value-based channel model. The merit-based program goes into effect immediately and will be rolled out globally over the next six months.
dinCloud Targets Health Care Cloud Services
dinCloud, a cloud services provider that helps businesses migrate to the cloud through business provisioning, now offers cloud services developed and packaged for the health care industry. These services are designed for health care providers looking for a secure hosted solution with business-continuity/disaster-recovery capabilities.
dinCloud's secure cloud offerings, including hosted virtual desktops, hosted virtual servers and cloud storage, enable users to access the entire digital workspace from multiple devices. The health care offerings also include "heightened security measures" to protect digital assets and meet industry regulations.
Numerify Adds Four Partners
Numerify, a cloud-based analytics company focused on IT business analytics, has added four partners to the Numerify Partner Program: Cloud Sherpas, Cask LLC, Kloves Inc. and Aspediens. Each of these companies implement or consult on IT service, asset, business and project management solutions. Cloud Sherpas, Cask, and Kloves are based in the United States, and Aspediens is based in Europe.
In other news, Numerify unveiled a suite of IT business analytics products at the ServiceNow Knowledge15 conference for service management professionals using enterprise cloud services. The suite of products includes financial analytics to optimize spending, asset analytics to predict demand and project analytics to track resources.
Vormetric Expands Data Security Platform for Teradata Solutions
Vormetric, a provider in enterprise data security for physical, big data, public, private and hybrid cloud environments, has released the Vormetric Protection for Teradata Database. As an extension of the Vormetric Data Security Platform, this product adds data-at-rest encryption capabilities for the Teradata Integrated Data Warehouse, which helps customers meet regulatory compliance initiatives, such as PCI DSS 3.0 (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard 3.0) and HIPAA/HITECH (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act/Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health); secure personally identifiable information (PII); and prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data.
The partnership provides customers with an additional option of protection and simplifies the process of using column-level encryption in the Teradata Database across the Teradata Workload-Specific Platform Family, said the company.
