Remote monitoring and management software maker N-able Technologies
announced its chief operating officer JP Jauvin will be taking on an expanded
leadership role as president of the Ottowa, Canada-based company.

Jauvin will continue to report to N-able CEO Gavin Garbutt
and will be responsible for the software maker’s global strategy, sales and
operations. He will also oversee the development and execution of N-able’s programs,
services and technologies, the company said in a statement Tuesday.

Since joining N-able as COO in June, Jauvin is credited with
incorporating a new level of innovation and next-gen IT automation to the
company’s product and toolsets, the company said.

 “N-able has become a
very exciting and successful growth story for the IT industry,” Garbutt said in
a statement. “Under the leadership of JP and our executive team, N-able’s MSP
partners will continue to reign as the industry’s top-performing MSPs. Together
we will ignite the proliferation of managed services in 2011 and seize the
opportunity.”

According to N-able, the company’s MSP partners grew their SMB
business using N-central by 75 percent and its midmarket reseller program grew
100 percent year-over-year.

MSP adoption of N-able’s freemium services and 100 percent
IT coverage model continues to exceed expectations and attract new channel
partners, the company said.
