D-Link Debuts New Resources, Tools for Resellers
D-Link has released a suite of tools, resources and evaluation units for VARs and customers that want to resell or integrate IP surveillance solutions. New resources include a free 36- by 24-inch IP Surveillance 101 poster, a Web-based bandwidth and storage calculator tool to calculate the bandwidth and storage capacity for surveillance projects, an interactive floor planner to help determine where cameras should be placed for optimal video surveillance coverage, and 30-day evaluation units for qualified end users and partners.
A competitive product comparison tool is available to authorized resellers, and an interactive product selector tool helps identify and recommend the right D-Link IP camera for a user's business security. D-Link offers 30 business-class IP camera models and three network video recorders, along with outdoor enclosures and video management software (VMS) options to meet the requirements of any size business, the company said.

RKON Partners With Druva
RKON Technologies, an IT consulting firm providing managed cloud solutions to Fortune 2000 companies, has announced a partnership with Druva, an endpoint data protection and governance provider. RKON provides technology-enabled solutions, including hosted virtual desktops, disaster recovery, managed security and managed virtualization. The partnership will allow for greater protection of endpoint devices, and help customers deal with security and compliance risks associated with the increase in workforce mobility and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) programs, reducing the loss of corporate information assets.
Nintex Names VP of Channels and Strategy
Nintex, a workflow automation company, has named Josh Waldo vice president of channel strategy and channel programs. Waldo will lead Nintex's partner and channel marketing strategy as the company expands its workflow automation platform. Waldo worked at Microsoft for eight years, most recently serving as senior director of cloud partner strategy within the Worldwide Partner Group.
Cirius Messaging Earns Parallels APS 2 Certification
Cirius Messaging has received Parallels APS 2 certification, becoming the first secure messaging solution to be certified with the APS 2 standard for the Parallels Automation environment. This allows Cirius Secure Messaging to be added to any Parallels solution provider's product portfolio.
Cirius Secure Messaging was designed for the cloud and channel distribution. It's leveraged by hosted solution providers looking for a secure cloud solution to increase monthly recurring revenue, and to help customers meet compliance and privacy requirements.
