SANS Institute Launches New Security Training Course
SANS Institute, a provider of information security training, announced the addition of a new course that aims to give security professionals the tools and skills needed to provide active defense, offensive countermeasures and cyber-deception to catch cyber-attackers.
The Active Defense, Offensive Countermeasures and Cyber Deception course is designed to teach security professionals how to force an attacker to make moves that may increase a defender's ability to detect that attacker, how to gain better attribution about the attacker and how to gain access to the attacker's system—and learn how to do this legally.

Y Soft Offers New Reward Program
Y Soft, an enterprise office solutions provider, introduced a new reward program for managed print services partners. The Y Soft Partner Reward Program offers a set of discounts, incentives and rewards for Y Soft's global community of channel partners and adds a new partner level, Y Soft Authorized Reseller. As an authorized reseller, partners sell and deliver the YSoft SafeQ solution and Y Soft provides ongoing support and service directly to the customer. The program provides rewards and incentives on business development activities, such as promotions, customer references and event participation. The program is effective July 1, 2015.
Coveo Teams Up With New Salesforce System Integrators
Coveo expanded its systems integrator (SI) ecosystem with several leading Salesforce system integrators, including Appirio, BlueWolf, Cloud Sherpas, Etherios, NTT Data Cloud Services and Vertiba, thanks to marketplace adoption of Coveo for Salesforce applications. Coveo's subscription revenue bookings increased more than 300 percent in the first quarter of 2015, led by its Coveo for Salesforce Service Cloud and Communities apps. The offerings available to SIs include Coveo for Salesforce-Communities Edition and Coveo for Salesforce-Service Cloud Edition.
Security Mentor Adds Policy Tracking and Management Service
Security Mentor introduced the Security Mentor Policy Tracking and Management Service, a cloud-based service offering that enables customers to track and manage their security policies on Security Mentor's security awareness training platform. This service provides a way for businesses to ensure employee compliance with security awareness training and internal security policies in a single location. Program administrators can view, customize and export reports to track compliance with policies.
Cloud Technology Partners Debuts CTP Labs for Google Cloud Platform
Cloud Technology Partners launched Cloud Technology Partners (CTP) Labs for Google Cloud platform. CTP Labs for Google enables enterprises and independent software vendors (ISVs) to develop software on the Google Cloud platform. Although CTP Labs is platform-independent, Cloud Technology Partners has leveraged Google Cloud platform, which provides the tools and capabilities necessary to develop and operate the high-performance applications that enterprise customers need, said the company.
Pricing for CTP Labs is on a per-project basis. Engagements generally range from three months to one year.
