Paessler Debuts New Partner Program
Paessler AG, a network monitoring company, launched a new partner program that features an improved deal-registration process, rewards for marketing activities and an enhanced certification program. The company redesigned the program to provide more targeted marketing support at all levels and increased protection of deal registration.
Registered deals are valid for 90 days, compared with 30 days previously. The four-tier program—Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze—offers incentives for marketing programs, discounts on licenses, upgrades, renewals and certifications at all levels, with increasing deal-registration discounts as the levels progress.
Connected Data Expands Partner Program to Europe
Connected Data expanded its Excelerate Partner Program to Europe, and signed its first European strategic partnership agreement with Commtech, a value-added distributor. Commtech will distribute Connected Data's Transporter, private-cloud file sync and share (FSS) appliance solutions, to enterprise customers in the U.K. and Ireland through its channel of resellers and systems integrators.
Atlantis Expands SDS, Hyper-Converged Offerings
Atlantis Computing, a provider of software-defined storage (SDS), launched its third-generation SDS platform and factory integration of its Atlantis HyperScale appliances available on Cisco, HP, Lenovo and SuperMicro server platforms.
HyperScale appliances are available factory-configured through SuperMicro in North America and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and pre-integrated through Ingram Micro in North America. HyperScale appliances preintegrated on Cisco and Lenovo servers are available through Ingram Micro in North America as well as existing partners in EMEA.
Check Point Upgrades Malware Detection
Check Point Software Technologies, a pure-play security vendor, introduced SandBlast, an advanced threat prevention solution that uses CPU-level threat detection to uncover threats at the pre-infection level. The technology features evasion-resistant malware detection and threat extraction capability.
Check Point SandBlast is available as a cloud service or as an on-premise appliance solution through the company's global partners.
IndependenceIT Supports vCloud Air
IndependenceIT, an integrated workspace automation software platform provider for IT departments, service providers and ISVs, offers enhanced support for vCloud Air and vCloud Director to expand public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructure options for partners. This means single and multi-tenant virtual data centers can be deployed on vCloud Air with the automation and workflow engine contained within Cloud Workspace Suite without requiring users to access, learn or support the vCloud Air/vCloud Director interface, said the company.
Cirrity Unveils Reseller Success Portal
Cirrity, a channel-only secure cloud solutions provider, launched its new Reseller Success Portal designed to improve reseller enablement. The company created the marketing and sales support portal in partnership with Revenew, a through-channel marketing automation (TCMA) platform, to provide resellers with access to a custom-developed go-to-market tools and marketing materials.
New capabilities include Campaign-in-a-Box (multi-channel, digital marketing campaigns), Brand Machine (Cirrity-developed, preformatted, professional marketing assets), BrandBox (a repository of sales, marketing and technical tools and assets), and Marketing Development Fund Management (a mechanism for resellers to request funds for campaigns and activities supported by Cirrity).
Impartner Releases Partner Portal Health Check
Impartner (formerly known as TreeHouse Interactive), a turnkey SaaS Partner Relationship Management (PRM) solutions provider, announced a new 11-point Partner Portal Health Check to help companies evaluate whether their portal is an asset or a liability in helping them accelerate indirect sales.
